The design process begins with an initial consultation. This is the beginning of the whole project, where you give us your vision for the space or where we create that vision together. Our team of professional designers will work with you throughout this step to come up with a cohesive design for your home while being within your budget.

The initial in-home consultation involves a walk-through of your space with one of our designers. Layout, function, and style are discussed. Measurements of the space are taken in preparation for drawings.

After the design of the space has been created, we will have you come to our showroom to review the drawings in detail. In addition, we offer 3D perspectives that make envisioning your new space easy. A proposal outlining all of the features and costs associated with the project will also be presented.

Two options are available if you would like to move forward with the process and reserve an installation date: if the project is within two months of the installation date, a production deposit of 50% on the contract is required; or, if the installation date is more than two months away, a design deposit of 10% of the project is required.

With custom cabinetry comes the excitement of choosing your finishes, including: paint/stain colour, hardware, accessories, trim, & moldings. Our designers will guide you through the process to ensure a stunning design that is both functional and beautiful.

Near the end of the design phase a final measure must be conducted by your designer and the head installer. This will ensure all cabinets will install correctly, and that any changes made through the design phase balance each other out.

Once the design has been finalized and the project has been slotted into production, there is a minimum of four weeks lead time from production to installation. During this waiting period we highly encourage our clients to stop by the shop to watch the vision become a reality.
